- How long does custom embroidery take on Long Island? +
- Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 business days from approved proof. Same-day embroidery is available on smaller orders when your digitized file is ready and your blanks are in shop. Bulk and uniform programs are typically 7 to 10 days. Call (631) 458-3842 to confirm timing before driving to Huntington.
- Do I need to digitize my logo before ordering embroidery? +
- Yes. Every logo and artwork order requires a one-time digitizing pass that converts your art into a stitch file an embroidery machine can read. Our digitizing fee is $125 per logo and it is waived free on any embroidery order over $150. Once digitized, the file is yours to reuse on every future order with no additional digitizing charge.
- What is the minimum order for embroidery at EmbroideryLI? +
- There is no minimum. We embroider single pieces, team orders, and bulk runs of a thousand or more at the same per-piece pricing. Bring in one hat for a gift or order 500 polos for a corporate rollout.
- Can I supply my own garments for embroidery? +
- Yes. We embroider customer-supplied garments and we also supply blanks from SanMar, S&S Activewear, and alphabroder at decorator pricing if you want us to source. Please review our supplied-garment policy on the order page before dropping off.
- Do you ship embroidery orders, or is this Long Island only? +
- Both. Local pickup is available at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington, NY 11743. We also ship completed orders nationwide via UPS and USPS. Free shipping on orders over $200.
- How does the live embroidery preview tool work? +
- Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP of your logo on this page and our preview engine renders it in stitch-style directly in your browser. You see how thread color, density, and detail will translate to embroidery before you commit. EmbroideryLI is the only shop on Long Island that shows you this preview at the upload step.
- What does same-day embroidery service mean? +
- Same-day means in by 11 AM, out by 5 PM that same business day, subject to stitch-count and machine availability. It requires a digitized file already on hand or a text-only design. Call (631) 458-3842 to confirm same-day availability before bringing in a job.
- How does embroidery pricing work at EmbroideryLI? +
- Pricing is per garment per placement. Left or right chest is $10. Full front is $35. Full back is $45. Sleeve hits are $10 each. Hats start at $10. Patches start at $12. The price does not change whether you order one or one thousand. Add the $125 digitizing fee once per logo and it is waived on orders over $150.
- What is the difference between embroidery and fauxbroidery DTF? +
- Embroidery is real thread stitched into the fabric for a textured, premium, decades-durable result. Fauxbroidery is a DTF transfer that mimics the look of embroidery for a fraction of the cost when real thread is not the right call. For full-color photo art or tiny detail under a quarter inch, our sister brand Long Island DTF Printing is often a better fit.

- Our shop is at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington, NY 11743. We are open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM. Closed Sunday. We serve all of Long Island including Nassau and Suffolk counties.
